    it was for the high refresh but it also supports 3d. i want to try this out for the hell of it but i wanted to know if it would be expensive and if i can do it with a alternative to nvidia 3d vision.

    can anyone help?

    iZ3D (which is discontinued) is 3D quad buffer injection working with DX9 and I think last version had experimental DX10 support (but not many games anyway).

    Tridef3D is other injector which comes into mind. Then you need glasses made for your TV. Original is best idea. And in software set frame sequential. Both software solutions may cause that left will show as right and vice versa. But software have function to swap them.

    There were some other projects, but I forgot names.

    And in each case I would advise to have software disabled unless you are going to run game in 3D and fill things like steam/firefox into ignore lists.
