    Hi
I have an AMD A8-5500 and I am trying to add a discrete MSI R6670 and failing

I currently running a 350W PSU is that enough for the setup or would i need a new PSU?

Please explain further as to what problems you're having. What are your full specifications? Is the second card not detecting? Do you have crashes when you try to play games etc? You're extremely vague and it'll be difficult to assess exactly what the problem is without more depth.

A8-5500 + HD6670 isn't "officially" supported for dual graphics. The HD6570, HD7570 and HD7670 are the only "officially" supported cards for dual graphics.

Motherboard Name MSI MS-7800 (Medion OEM)
    RAM 8 GB

Windows recognises it as having a 7650D + 6670 Dual Graphics but when i boot up with the VGA cable in the discrete card it wont show anything on the screen even after windows boots up. if i boot up the 6670 on its own it works fine. CCC registers it as 7650D + 6670 Dual Graphics too.
