Frame Rate Limit

I used to use MSI OSD Display server to cap the frame rate of many games. But with 64bits games this feature doesn't work
What can I do? Is there another tool to set a frame rate limit?

Dxtory works with 64 bit applications... link: howto.

 

Thanks Seb1, I will it a try. But are you sure it works? Because in the link you gave me the guy seems to have trouble to limit the frame rate using dxtory.

 

Try NvInspector
and change Driver profile settings

you can limite framerate per game

 

Ok it works with Dxtory! I can apply a frame limit on x64 games.

What soopah said, it works for NVidia cards only. At first I wanted to suggest the same, then I saw in your sig, that you have crossfired 5850's :frown:

Unfortunately after several tests the Dxtory's frame limiter does not perform as good as the MSI OSD Server's frame limiter: I mainly use the frame limiter to remove the micro stutters I have in game with my crossfired system but DXtory does not remove these micro stutters but MSI OSD frame limiter does a perfect job...
