$60 US is pretty expensive just to try :p and considering that i have to order them it would be a pain in the ass if i had to return them

Didn't they just come out with some 7.1's?

    Yeah they did...they're $70 and @ alienware.com

I'd love to get a pair myself...but cash is slim, like always.

I have it... they are GREAT ! Even listening to mp3 you can fell the diference... and of corse... the sound card makes diference 2.
One of the things cool about too is that if you have DVD movie or a movie on .avi wich was recorded with 5.1 fullsound... you will listen more details it ! I can tell it cause I had a PHILLIPS HP800 headphone... well... I still have... but know I use it at work.

    No... cause :

1- It has no volume control.
2- I will only plug the "2 FRONT" and the others "2 BACK" and "CENTER" will be hangin...

They were only meant to be used on 5.1 devices...

But the phillips are good, but no volume control. Get a good headphone with volume control.
