It definitely feels easier, but part of me thinks that I've just become a better Dark Souls player over the years. DS3 had no areas that frustrated the hell out of me, like Blighttown and the dark pit beneath the well in DS2 did.
I’d say that DS1 was hard because it was very nonlinear and cryptic. DS2 just flooded you with enemies in a game where the combat works best 1v1, so the difficulty was a bit artificial. DS3 is just more streamlined and linear and the fact that the players are getting better at those games, makes it feel easier. It can be frustrating with its stun lock combos though.
https://www.destructoid.com/the-fir...nds-disappointing-is-pvp-centric-382111.phtml Not a huge PvP enthusiast myself if this is accurate but eh there's a second DLC planned so maybe that will offer something bigger?
What? I'm I reading this correctly? Is this a joke? The first DLC is going to be PvP only!? :wanker: uke2:
I love dark souls and I do enjoy its PvP but....it doesn't need dedicated pvp dlc having new pve areas to pvp in would of been more than enough :/
Possibly, it is a translated article so it could be that it offers more and the developer merely focused on talking about the PvP area and this lead to a misunderstanding, we'll see once it gets a official announcement which might happen shortly. EDIT: Yeah possibly a translation issue, there's some scans now (In Japanese.) showing more of the DLC. http://imgur.com/a/2usOJ
Thank **** for that, new area looks a bit like painted world from DS1 maybe priscilla will be there :3
Another patch is out. Changes the game exe and the data0 archive used for game balance but also the data1 and data3 archives with various game assets. EDIT: http://steamcommunity.com/games/374320/announcements/detail/611748296252715274

Excellent! I got a 21:9 monitor a few weeks ago and just picked up the season pass today for the DLC next week and was looking at a 21:9 fix
BTW there's a new pre-DLC patch coming this Friday, that promices to finally fix poise for heavy weapons and armor + lot of other things. Think I'm going to get back into this game when the DLC drops!
