they are rotten.. thought id warn people..

probably only 10% effected this way but still..

The hotfix was a lot worse for me, I had to reinstall windows. 368.39 resulted in lower performance in some areas of fo4 and one level of doom 2016 at worst. Windows Update force installed 368.20 on my PC, I threw my hands up and just installed .39. That stub error some people are facing seems like a total PITA though.

    Disable windows auto drivers.

I cant believe NVIDIA released drivers that had such a bad effect on my system.. I trusted them so much that I didnt even think about the cause being a driver by them.. I went through my entire machine.. before finally someones like you should wipe drivers.. so I did and problem now fixed..

this is AMD quality of drivers lately

No problems here on windows 10 64 legal + 368 driver.
I do always a clean install with GFE and i have try all drivers from the release of the gtx 980 ti. The only problem that i had was with one driver that set the refresh rate to 24hz, mybe cause i use HDMI?

    Nvidia wtf?

:3eyes: My problems started with using the new drivers after 1080/70 release. Why would you work so long on a new microarchitecture and as an after thought release such a ****ty driver for it? Half ass a driver release is not a good business model! Who are you now Intel? Get off your fat, lazy brains and separate the drivers.:chainsaw2: One for the new Pascal cards, and one for the Maxwell setup. There you go you glutton of a company Nvidia. Do something for all the money you make us dish out for your product!:puke2: I read on the Nvidia site that the problem has something to do with the back door, (how appropriate)and the other parts of the drivers/program that run on auto gumming up the works. I am not savy enough to figure all that out so I just went back to 368.22 and have no further problems. I have gtx 980 and win 10 pro, legal version:pc1: Make this right Nvidia:3eyes:

That's funny. I have not found one driver to date that runs rock solid fine on windows 10. Still in search for it but Quadro are the closest I have found to date. In fact the hot fix I did not installed since the one before black screened reboot sucked for me. Did not have this problem with 8.1.

Buy the way what in the world is meant by "windows 10 64 legal" is this the version with all the backdoors mentioned later in this thread :bang:.

    Regards

I'm not having any issues whatsoever with my 1070. I'd try to rollback to older stuff but i'd need to mod the drivers, but I don't think it's that bad.

    Same here.

I believe some people are complaining, but are still using windows 7...

Using an outdated OS will start causing more problems as time passes.
