http://www.linkedin.com/pub/david-payne/4/aa/154 Seems to be for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Loved SR3 so this is fantastic news.
Can't wait. I loved SR3. I'll finally be able to max it out at 60 frames when my gtx670 arrives in a few days too *swoon*
Would be nice, not many dev's make fun games these days, too many take things to serious. Whether it appears, depends on if THQ are still around, they are bleeding money these days.
Visually similar and the same wackiness of 3. Should be great! I hope the PC performance is good out of the box.
Well I think it's the same engine since the expansion for Saints Row 3 got delayed and was turned into this full sequel instead.
Looks great lol, I'm glad they seem to keep the feeling of the Third. I never played the first 2 games but I loved the Thrid. So much **** going on, not to mention the insane character customization, I spent hours in warderobes/plastic surgery/car modding. Oh, and it had boobs, bouncing boobs. (I used a nude mod) :eyebrows:
I hope that it contains little more content than the vanilla SR3 did on release... also those side missions, they should find a better way to tie them into the game world because the whole SR3 felt like bunch of mini games patched in. Fun mini games sure, but they felt so disconnected from each other.
SR3 IMO wasn't as good as SR2, they dropped the balance between being fun and ridiculous. I hope they get back to where it was in SR4.
Thing I liked less about SR3 was the serious lack of interiors and real cribs. SR2 had many cribs throughout the city complete with customizable interiors. There were also a lot of other buildings like the airport, police station, shopping mall and others that were complete with interiors. Also always felt that SR2's city felt much more realistic as it had outskirts and suburbs as well as trailer parks and what not. SR3's city just feels so "packed" by comparison.
Can't wait for this. I had a blast with SR:The Third... and this one looks to be the exact same type of random awesomeness.
The devs would like you to fill in the following survey... http://kwiksurveys.com/app/rendersurvey.asp?sid=43mpp9qwqrrd2ry115081&refer=t.co
I really enjoyed 3, the over the top insanity really appealed to me, 4 seems to be twelve shades more so, can't wait, though I may wait till a complete edition if they go nuts with dlc like 3 did.
