yes straight from MaximumPC well... at least what i can remeber:
Kyro II (3D Prophet 4500):Lightning FAST!(scored really well in Quake 3 benches they run), Uncompatibility(they had troubles getting it to run Black&White and some other game which is boring (everquest) ), 64Mb Of 175mhz SD-RAM, RAMDAC 350mhz.... Rating : 6 Price:150

Winfast Geforce 2 MX 400: Pretty Fast(scored slower then the Kyro but relitlvly fast), Some corruption on screen in Railroad Tycoon, 64MB of 166 SD-RAM, RAMDAC 350mhz.....Rating: 8 Price:129

I dunno but they liked the G2MX more... they said its mostly cause of the uncombatibility... just wait for the better drivers and the KII is gonna run over the G2MX400

Thanks man. Just let me point out the incompatibility with B&W issue isn't just with the kyro 2. That game had a real bad reputation.
Kyro 2 competes with the gts in the real world, and does fsaa like no other. My guess would be there is some nvidia bias there cuz the kyro 2 would rock the mx in any of those. It doesn't have a t&l engine but I don't think those games would even use one.

  3. the only game the kyro II has bad performance in is Tribe2 because it's use the card very well just like with the voodoo 5!

Alright but why chill with a castrated chipset capable of performance on par with the lowliest of the Geforce 2 line? Do you know that you can get a GF2 PRO for 150 dollars from pricewatch.com?
