Hi, someone will possibly send me a gtx660, but in one of the photos I see something that I don´t know if it's okay. Appears to be white stain, corrosion or something. The person sent me a bench result and the temperatures are fine (dates are from today, all correct). Draws attention that stain appears near the power connector. It's normal, I'll buy it safely?

I´m new and can´t post link with image.

Let´s try: pic is on postimg(dot)org and the rest: /image/nt6as3qw9/

    Thank´s!

    Somewhat common.

Usually some residue left from factory.
    I wouldn't worry about it.

OP, nothing to worry about, more or less almost every GPU I have had came with something like this on the top of the PCB on the side oposite to 6-pin and/or 8-pin power conwctor(s).

Nothing to worry about it, it's just flux from soldering.

Had that on my old GTX680, i had it for 4 years before i sold it :)

    All right!. Thank´s people.

Just revice an email from EVGA and they got same reply:

    EVGA Customer Service Team:

    Hello,

It's possible that you're simply seeing flux from when the card was made, although it's difficult to tell at this point. Unfortunately the card is out of warranty, so we wouldn't be able to replace it if you're experiencing problems, but it should be safe to use a high-concentration rubbing alcohol to try cleaning it. Just be sure that the card is completely dry before using it again. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Regards,
    EVGA
