Why do the new drivers hate Chrome?

Read all the reports of driver not responding when surfing with Chrome but thought it was just a strange, limited thing so I downloaded the new hot fix drivers. For two days Chrome was fine until this morning when it crashed with driver not responding.

It seems quite silly to have this happen with several new sets of drivers and one would think it would be an easy fix.

I've seen a lot of people report this issue when using Chrome or Firefox with hardware acceleration enabled. I have been very fortunate as I have never experienced this issue even though I use both Chrome and Firefox with hardware acceleration enabled. I do not usually leave browsers open while gaming though but I do use RTSS (the latest version that came with MSI Afterburner v4.1.1) to display the on-screen display in games and take screenshots.

I also haven't had any issues with Chrome, even while gaming. Running Windows 10|352.84

Bad drivers in my experience. 350.12 and earlier I cannot reproduce the fault.

I haven't had any crashes with Chrome, I installed Windows 8 again just before TW3 was released though.

I had a couple of crashes in TW3 but that only seemed to happen when Afterburner was running.

well it happened again today with Chrome and this one was a bad one lasting almost a minute. This can't be good for your video card's health.

FF is crashing for me too at this point. Usually when i have pulled it over to my second screen and i'm gaming on my main screen, usually when i have a stream open like twitch or something then it just closes down.
