Ah nice, yea with MS's lack of interest in providing people with at least an SP2 Win 7, years and years of updates take a while to install, be handy to have an updated ISO

I've used the updates tool in the past, I like the kb info which pops up when you rollover with a mouse.

Actually are they the same, the one in screenshot looks different than I remember?

My main complaint about the update process is there not done in any kind of order so some times updates that need to installed before other updates can be installed ,cause failed update and needless reboot.

This is my next thing to look at

Recommend me good simple to use program/guide to slip stream updates into an iso, last time it tried this was 3 years ago, think i use nlite and the slip stream iso had errors and failed in middle of install. despite no error poped up when i did the slip stream

Problem with this is a lot of companies that make use of group policy will block any windows update connections and tools from Microsoft. We do on ours, and while I have admin access on our network I cannot single out my machine for group policy. So tools like the one posted in the opp that does not feed directly from Microsoft works great, you just need to make sure the hosts are trustworthy.

I just got around to using wincerts win-toolkit to make slipstream iso with all security updates to 3-29-2015 the iso when it was all said and done came out to 4.7gb iso

Next thing to to is pull out one my hdd and do test install make sure it did what is supposed too on it before I redo it on my SSD.

    480+ updates in total
