    If someone had told you this was a japanese developed game you would have been spared the disappointment.

    Japanese games are always extremely simplistic design. Dark souls etc are some of the most watered down garbage linear games of all time.

    If that game didn't have it's out of the ordinary difficulty no one would even have glanced at it.

    The pseudo gothic and simplicity of this game was glaring from every boring gameplay clip I saw.

    I'm referring to the geometry/draw distance LOD (where you see the transitions between the different details levels as you approach or move away from objects) not the texture filtering LOD.

    Finished it, not a very big game but I really enjoyed it, ending had different slides depending on what I had done in the game so that alone gives some replayability and then there's New Game+ mode as well with new items and story details.

    Lol it's such a dark souls copy... new game+, your experience has been recovered.. blablabla. :D

    I'm wondering if this is sueing material or not? Because.. looks kinda weird u know. Combat and everything looks a lot like the same, so I'm wondering if the same code was used or? ... Bit weird.

    Well, it's fairly low budget title (42 mln zlotych, which is around 12 million dollars including marketing) so it's easier and safer to borrow proven mechanics, than making something completely new.
    Still huge improvement over Sniper series.

    12 million is low budget? lol , and my favorite games of all time were made with like 10 times less amount. Shows it all i guess... How times changed

    Depends when said game was released, unless it's some indie title this budget by today standards is not that big.
    Witcher 3, another polish game in comparison have 30 mln dollar budget (100mln zlotych).

    I ended up starting over since I missed 2 secrets in the beginning area. I could have back tracked for one (Hero Shard) but the other (Defeat first boss while taking 0 damage) needed a new game.

    Took me about 11 tries or so to beat the first boss without taking damage. Second boss secret is easier I think, just requires you to not block anything. Doing bosses in certain ways get you a legendary version of their item. For the first boss sword, it adds a shockwave to the 1h heavy attack. For the 2nd boss' shield it adds 3 ghost shield projectiles that shoot out when you plant it (off hand heavy attack skill).

    hmmm..... hmmm...and hmmmm..

    man it looks like i am playing game with no tactics at all. i am the definition of fail.

    i will now backtrack and farm enemies. and try to make my charcter high level.

    the thing is :

    - healing urself takes time
    - dodging takes time.
    - using special skills takes time. in third monster it gives problem to me.

    Actually Deck13 and CI are the developers. Deck13 are German and CI are Polish. Only the publishers/distributors are Japanese.

    I was in the chat for the live stream the devs did today. Several folks asked about the possibility to disable chromatic aberration. The devs confirmed that they are going to add this in a later patch.
