I had to make such thread! Can't take it anymore. I literally can't go to bed for 20 minutes and my hair automatically takes all kinds of shapes and I can't go outside right alway if I have to. This is my entire life. I have to keep my hair extremely short in order to prevent 'malfunctions'. Are there any products that make your hair... I don't know hard or dry or whatever? It's like cotton and silk. I tell you my hair is no man's hair. Women WANT this thing not I!!!
Try wax, but its a bit tougher to wash out. American Crew, Gatsby, etc. Avoid strong smelling ones. A trick I do is wear a hat/beanie and spin it a few times and leave it on while I do other things before I leave. It's like a comb.
Yeah I do that sometimes. I even sleep with hat on if I have to wake up really early and don't have time for shower. Other than that I don't know. I heard of these sprays women use. Don't know how they work tho. I'm oblivious to any cosmetics that make people beautiful lol
"Shiny clean boots and a spanking short haircut and you can cope with anything." - A.J. Rimmer's father (just before his suicide)
I can go to sleep and wake up with a perfectly good barnet, it just needs a little tweak and I'm good to go out. I always shower and wash my hair before going out and have been using VO5 surfer wax, it works great and is cheap. I do have quite thick hair though.
Rebel hair...Well try to accept it as it is. I have this also, but i accepted that and i am more confident now. Keeping a short haircut helps a lot and some hair wax now and then doesn't hurt.
I KNOW! People think I'm joking when I say best thing can happen to you is to get bald. I want to be bald so badly and not bother with hair xD
Carefull with going bald.Ask teenage girls why do they prefer hair rebel guys.Going bald will get you more MILFs. But anyway, do as you please, for everything there is a flip side Bald men wanting hair, hairy man wanting shinning scalps.
I used to have a shaved head and liked it a lot (yet it requires even more maintenace to keep it "smooth"). Nowadays I have a medium-short hair which I tackle with excessive wax, so my suggestion too is wax, a strong-hold one. Or the shaving however before doing that try to imagine yourself with a shaved head, does it really fit you? And like said, keeping it smooth means you need to shave your scalp almost daily. Or face a rash that's extremely annoying...
I have to keep mine really short otherwise mine ends up going in all different directions too. I can't wear a hat or beanie either because then I end up with a serious case of hat hair.
I actually use that to my "advantage". I first smooth out my hair with wax. Then I put on a hat, like a beanie, say, for while I drive to work. During that, the hat smoothes out my hair even more. But yeah, I just apply a tonne of wax, "push" back my hair as much as I can (so it is along my scalp so to speak) and let the hat do the rest. For any other hairdo this wouldn't work I think...
There is some truth in watching for certain soap ingredients, such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_dodecyl_sulfate Go for those hippy, eco, organic natural shampoos and soaps. I have a theory that if anyone knows what's good for their hair, it'd be those with hippy long hair.
