Need some help on this please. Struggling to tame the fan on some recycled hardware. Running a Nvidia Ti 4200 AGP card on an ECS 741GX-M mainboard. Win XP SP3 / Nvidia Drivers 97.41 (latest) Tried setting AutoFanSpeedControl = 3 without luck. The "Fan" tab is still not there. Can't find any good info on the specific card anymore, any help is very welcome! Thanks
Thank you for your reply. I've tried the CoolBits registry patch, no change though to the Fan issue. I've tried setting AutoFanSpeedControl to 1 and AFAIK 1=Display 3=FullAccess
What about Nvidia system tools? http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvidia-system-tools-6.08-driver.html edit: nevermind, it says it doesn't support older than the FX series.
Not all TI 4200 card had fan control capabilities. My Gainward GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128 MB AGP 8x GS didn't have fan controlling capability.
That card was so good back in the day. I have my Ti4600 somewhere in which im planning on building an old XP PC for older titles .
