    Good news,

During the last weeks I spent some time in improving the Predator(tm) feature of MSI Afterburner. That's what you can expect in the next version:

o Improved RTV1 compression algorithm. New compression algorithm allows you to increase image quality at the cost of decreasing compression ratio, while keeping extremely fast compression performance. Please take a note that the previous RTV1 compression implementation is equal to the lowest possible 25% image quality/compression ratio balance in new implementation
o Added 64-bit version of RivaTuner Video Codec. Now RTV1 videos are playable and editable in 64-bit applications (e.g. 64-bit Sony Vegas Pro)
o Now both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of RivaTuner Video Codec can optionally decode MJPG videos, so no third party MJPG codec installation is longer required to edit MJPG encoded videos in some applications with no native MJPG decoding support (e.g. Sony Vegas Pro). MJPG decoder can be enabled in video capture compatibility properties

Besides that, possibly there will be one more feature similar to dual audio recording in DXTory. However, it is not approved by MSI yet. If we decide to implement it, there will be a possibility to record two independent audio tracks from two different (and user configurable) audio sources (e.g. one audio track with game sound and one audio track with mic sound).

I know few months ago you said that mic recording probably won't be implemented.
So, big THANK YOU for even considering this!!
    :mhp: :hatty:

Btw, one more thank you for improving codecs! :)

It will be implemented if MSI find it useful and include it in development budget. Rather boring and troublesome feature to code it just for fun.

It is planned in upcoming releases rather soon, but not in v2.3.0 version.

Well IMHO that's an usefull feature! Kinda crazy when you watch recorded videos while playing BL2 Coop with a friend and only he is talking because it doesn't record your own voice ^^ especially wenn you start telling jokes :3eyes:

One more thing (cannot promise yet, but possible) : probably there will be external codecs support for video capture.

    Hi Unwinder

can I ask why does openGL take such a big hit if OSD is enabled? For example Doom3 + Sikkmod with some custom effects,. Idk maybe its because it uses some kind on screen buffer that hiders raw OSD performance?
    http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4415147&postcount=1303

    I tried all OSD combinations,

    viewpoint, framebuffer
    raster, vector3d

    but nothing seems to work.

Confirmed and done. Now in addition to built-in uncompressed, RTV1 and MJPG encoders it is possible to compress video with any external VFW codec. Performance wise it is a few times slower than built-in encoders, but if you're not searching for realtime fullframe 60 FPS capture in HD resolutions, it can be useful for you. Just captured test video using lossless Lagarith codec.

Wow, cool! Maybe not necessary after You improved RTV1 compression algorithm, but a lot of users asked for that option, so THANK you :)

Any news on MSI approving dual audio recording?
We know that it's a lot of work to include that option, but You will make a lot od user very happy :)

Hey unwinder, any chance in fixing the voltage offset for GTX680 lightning cards in your next release? Everytime i try to set it to +100mv it drops down to +93mv. Also after a reboot the core voltage is down again even lower at like +87mv. Any way to fix it so it stays at 100?
    Thanks for the software!

Yes. Rounding error of VID on GTX680 Lightning is already fixed in current build.
