    Hi,

I am building my first rig and i am setting up two HD for raid 0.

Once I define the array i am supposed to FDISK to format the 2 drives as one.

How do I do this??? The OS will be installed after I do this.

Where do I get FDISK and how do I load it on a system with no OS?

    Please help,
    J

This probably isnt the best place to ask that question. on of the software sections would be better.
But to answer your question, if you can get a old win98 boot disk it will have fdisk on it. you just boot from the floppy and you can say no to cd rom support, then when you get the A: prompt type in fdisk..

But fdisk doesnt format, it just creates the partions

if you are installing Win XP or 2000 part of the install process is defining you partions and formating so you may not even need the actual "fdisk"
