Not much, I tried using it in Crysis 3 and it didn't apply. It didn't kill fps either though.

There are a handful of settings in the cfg file that aren't in the in game settings. Instead of editing via text file this just combines the two elements into a handy config tool.

I've been messing around with settings to get Watch Dogs to run smoothly on my PC (specs below) with a GTX 680 and I think I found the secret sauce! I'm running the game at 1920x1200 which is why I had to crop the uploaded video. Every setting is MAXED except Textures (under display menu) are set to HIGH, and Anti-Aliasing is set to 2xTXAA. Using a config tool for Watch Dogs (link below), these are my settings:

I'm also running D3DOverrider in order to force Vsync AND triple buffering. And using nVidia inspector the only changes to the profile I made were turning Anisotropic Filtering to 16x, turned FXAA off, and Vsync AFR Control set to ON.

    My PC:
    Intel i5-4670 @ 4.4ghz
    Asrock z87 Extreme4 Motherboard
    PNY GTX 680 2gb @ 1200mhz
    16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600
Creative Labs X-Fi Titanium HD Sound Card
    Corsair HX-850w Power Supply
256gb OCZ Vertex 4 SSD + A bunch of Western Digital Black 1tb RE drives.

And lastly, since Youtube loves to destroy high quality video with their compression software, I'll add a couple screenshots in uncompressed PNG format taken with Fraps.

I did. Then I got the retail game once it became available. The only reason that folder is named RLD is because I still had the folder from the previous install in an attempt to preserve saved data and settings. I didn't delete the old folder which this program defaulted to when it loads. i forgot to click it and switch to the new folder before making the screen shot.

it didn't work. All it did was wipe previous info and replace it with new default files. doh!

Btw... did anyone notice how the advertisement for the PS4 version says that the white hat hacker outfit is one of a few exclusive features for just the ps4? Funny how it's in the PC version too. so are all the extra missions i've seen on PS4.

I'll ask again.. Anyone know exactly the purpose of these? They all seem redundant to each other for anyone that has a widescreen monitor.

BTW. Thank SG for the simple config tool. Beats editing text files.

D3DOverrider doesn't support 64bit apps afaik :) So anything you do with D3DO won't have any effect ingame.
