    All,

I ahve a Sony Bravia 37`along with an ATI 3600 HD card running Vista. I recent;y moved the TV and HTPC downstairs and the display no longer fills the screen. The display is filled using the ATI drivers under Linux. I have installed ATI tray Atools as per ATI support but cannot find anything usefule in it. I have also played with all the scaling options and overéunder scanning options in CCC with no luck.

    Any thoughts or hintsÉ

    Thanks,

    Tim

your bravia should have a full pixel setting in the menu try that.

Until I try looking at the menu for a full pixel setting...

I am running DVI from the card to HDMI (the first HDMI connection on the back of the TV. The manual recommends 1024x768 resolution for the "PC" input, but makes no mention of a recommended resolution for an HDMI connection.

    The TV is the KDL-37M3000.

The weird thing is it works full screen in Linux and used to in Vista.

I have the same problem with my sony 40w300a
    I am using VGA input.
But in 1280X720 works fine, the problem is with 1920X1080.
    Is a card problem related?

most sony LCD's and LCD's in general will not support 1080p via VGA. I have a bravia 40w2000 and you can only receive 1080p via dvi - hdmi.

    It's in the manual.

    Thanks.

But I read in my TV´s manual that the VGA input supports 1920X1080.

When I set the resolution to 1920X1080 it shows in the image menu the current resolution, the only problem is that there´s no option for fullscreen, just normal.
