    Hello,

I need an advice. I'm planning to buy a new speakers (probably Harman Kardon HKTS35) with amplifier - I'm thinking about Onkyo TX-NR 616 or Harman Kardon AVR 260.

I'd like to connect my pc - SB X-Fi Elite Pro (5.1/7.1) to the amplifier with analog 3.5 - RCA like this:

Is it possible? I don't want to loose ex. EAX.

I read manual to TX-NR 616 and there are TV/CD, PC, GAME, STB/DVR, CBL/SAT, BD/DVD composite analog jacks. I'm not sure if it will work.

H/K AVR 260 has 8 audio in, so I presume it would be a better choice... maybe.

    How to connect my x-fi?

Also, I'm wondering what is the real power consumption of this Onkyo or H/K?

They should be Front LR Rear LR center/Sub connections on the speakers sub or the control box for it. Which you would use a 3.5 to RCA cable for. I can't tell from the pictures i found.

The Harmon Kardon Amp/Receiver would allow you to connect through analog, you might need 3 x 3.5mm stereo to 2 RCA cables :)

Thanks for your replies. So, then I'll take HK AVR 260.

    Best regards!
