Hi, I am running recording Battlefield 3 spanned across 2 x GTX580 in SLI Surround Mode. I am currently recording full frame video in 24fps, and I late crop it in Sony Vegas to 16:9 to achieve a high resolution 1920x1080 x 24fps footage. I was hoping that the 16:9 "Crop Video Dimensions" option would do just that, it would look at the height of the video and chop off the sides. Thus allowing for a smaller capture file as well as allowing me to play in "Stereo mode" and capture the 16:9 video. Has anyone achieved this? I have tried so far... 1) Crop video dimensions to make it multiple of 16 - real result the frame size changes slightly but nearly not enough. 2) Frame size capture forced to 16:8 - works but squashes the whole 5760 from into a smaller size distorting the video, it does not crop. Tired with and without "Crop Video Dimensions tick box" Thank you.
