Hi. Im having trouble with my gigabyte GTX 760 OC. The problem is when i just have windows running no games the GPU load is at 99%, and when i try to play any game my FPS are really low, like 5-10 FPS. The strange thing is when i open the task manager the GPU load goes to 0% and the games run just fine. Can someone tell whats wrong PLS.
That sounds like a bitcoin virus, download "Process Explorer" to identify the culprit process and end it.
tried it. nothing. no process that eating away all that processing power. i dont get it. its really strange. :S
Have you done a virus scan and checked for malware. Have you thought about a fresh install of windows.
+1 Try Malwarebytes, OP. This is really weird and is probably caused by a virus. https://www.malwarebytes.org/
tried everything except formating and installing windows again, but im gonna do that and see if it solves the problem. thank you all for the opinions.
