    Unless some one can explain this behavior of my gpu.

    Every time i close my gpu F@H client after a long day of folding my 2nd gpu goes "Dead". It like if it lost all power and just turns off. The fan stops, sensors doesn't report anything but CCC does still pick up there is a 2nd card. This only happens on my 2nd gpu and after a restart everything goes back to normal. This is really weird and only F@H have been able to produce this kind of issue.

    So should i be worried? Because i am and have stop folding on my gpu unless some one can explain this issue.

    i stopped folding after the amount of electricity bill increase it was causing, also the fact that they so many times just discard your data.

    Thanks for pointing it out Hilbert. Please don't derail this thread, this is a serious issue. I really can't afford to damage this card since i don't have the money to replace it.

    Yeah hopefully somebody with a similar configuration has some answers. Might be something as simple as trying new drivers though.

    Maybe i should mention that im using ccc 9.12 hotfix with the Stream SDK installed, however the problem occurred even before i installed Stream.

    Ok when i tried to start the 2nd core it gave me an error. Here is the log.

    Im going to delete the core and work file/folder and try again. brb.

    Downloading a new core didn't help either. Same error :/

    hmmmm i wonder, can you confirm xfire was disabled also, are you using any of the reduce cpu usage tweaks?

    Yes im pretty sure crossfire was disabled, untick the box in crossfireX tab in CCC, screen flashed like normal.

    Yes im using the system environmental tweeks lower cpu usage.

    CAL_NO_FLUSH=1
    BROOK_YIELD=2
    FLUSH_INTERVAL=256

    what are the switches you used to initialise the gpu's individually?

    coz as far as that error goes, from my experience its a bad setting

    Well if you refer to flags, just -gpu 0 for 1st card, and -gpu 1 for 2nd card. Oh and -advmethods of course.

    Ok it seems to run stable now. However i still don't think the problem is resolved yet. Ill run it for a while and see if it's truly solved. Will post my results tomorrow. Thank you for your help happy.

    Well if you can't afford to damage your card, stop folding.
