Yep ! I've been for for a couple of days, because I was working on my new system ! Forget the old K6/2 350 MHz, I now have a TBird 1.4 GHz on an Asus A7V266 motherboard (wanted a A7M266, but I had to order it, and I wasn't patient enough to wait !). With an new case (PSU at 300W). I put a PAL 6035 MUC on the processor. I need more memory : I just have 128 Mo, as that was all the my retailer has left in stock <IMG SRC="smileys/frown.gif"> Going to buy some more mid-september. Also I need an extra Fan that blows the air to outside the case ...<br> I will get Tribes 2 ASAP, so I can have fun with T2 team !<br> <br> THX to Snoopy and Bugsy for the advice regarding the Mobo (my retailer doesn't have MSI cards, so I had to choose between ASUS and Abit ; the choice has been really fast after what you told me ! <IMG SRC="smileys/wink.gif">)<br> <br> And following the advice I could find on this forum was a great help to put all my system together! I'm running out of money right now !! (still have to buy T2 and some more memory ...) And I'm quite happy with my Geforce2MX, so I'm gonna stuck with it for the moment !<br> And before I change my Vcard, I need another Monitor. Mine is so outdated I don't even dare putting here its references !
