Hi I have the following motherboard, Asus A8N-SLI SE and I am getting no sound from it using the onboard sound chip. I have just built the system and everything else is working fine. I have installed the sound drivers and have onboard sound enabled in the BIOAS. I also have my speakers turned on, plugged in properly and volume up on the speakers and in windows but I am still not getting any sound. Also checked and mute is not on. Is there something I have forgotten to do or missed?? Any help really appreciated.
are you plugging from back ports or front... coz if ur not using front ports, u know dat u'll need to use the jumpers to block the front port sound! check ur mobo guide carefully.
