    hi i built a rig for a friend of mine, and we cant seem to get anything over 60hz on 1080p, used the exact same cable i use from my r280x with active displayport - dual link dvi, and i get 144hz to work.

    any ideas?

    Got mine BenQ XL2411Z to work with a DVI-D Dual Link at 144hz/1080p (cable was included with the monitor). All I had to do after I plugged it in was to go to Screen Resolution/Advanced settings/Monitor and set it to 144hz from there. What is the monitor?

    Check CCC. When I DL'ed the last two drivers it defaulted to 60hz. "Desktop Management>Desktop Properties" It even changed back to 60hz on me with the latest beta drivers after a reboot

    You could also try to create a custom resolution using CRU.

    CRU + Edit this in Registry:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000]
    "DALNonStandardModesBCD2"=hex:14,40,09,00,00,00,00,85,12,80,07,68,00,00,00,85,\
    12,80,09,60,00,00,00,85,16,00,12,00,00,00,00,90,17,92,13,44,00,00,00,90,18,\
    00,14,40,00,00,00,90,18,56,13,92,00,00,00,85,19,20,14,40,00,00,00,86,20,48,\
    15,36,00,00,00,85

    It's my config, when you go into registry edit like it is there but change only your desired resolution + refresh
    And you'll have 144Hz NP

    also in radeonMOD ->

    Added Dither options (DVI/DisplayPort/HDMI) to Monitor/TV Options.
    Added Custom Resolution 1/2/3 to Monitor/TV Options.

    Fixed issues related to GPU selecting.
    Fixed AMD CrossFireX support.
