Rockstar has released a new set of screenshots from the current-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V. Check them after the break.... Grand Theft Auto V - PC Screenshots
The formula got old after San Andreas when they decided to dumb the game mechanics down...and have cars slide out when taking corners at 30kph. Not even if it was free.
I can't wait for this. The only things i know about this game is from the promotional vids, i have not watched any youtube vids or read anything about it. I have just waited for the pc release.
These arn't PC screens (So they say) http://www.rockstargames.com/V/screenshots Says "PC Screens coming soon" at the top.
^^^ was about to say something also. Those are just marketing screens from the GTAV PS4PCXb1 (cant think of one as good as PS360), that was released a while ago. Keep us updated though, HH.
They added proper physics to the car mechanics with IV. That's a HUGE improvement over previous titles. The driving in San Andreas and prior GTA games was laughable. However, if you liked that driving style, you should check out Watch Dogs.
They went from "being able to turn at any speed without losing control" to "spin out on every corner no matter how slow". I don't think that counts as proper physics. Also they did away with the rpg element with 4 and 5 oh and of course they took away the fun element the games used to have. No amount of planned DLC can give a soulless game substance.
Hilbert, any particular reason you're posting low res screens with bad compression in almost 2015? If i see a pic i want to look at, i have to google it.. Anyways lets hope this one isnt a bad port like 5
Probably similar thinking to the screenshot thread as far as files size is concerned. Not everyone wants to download 25mb screenshots on a tech forum. I suppose thats what gaming websites are for. Just a thought.
"Current gen" SS. PC, no but I think we get the jest of how it'll look on PC, minus the bells 'n whistles that we get to tinker with. I'm with Oblivious on the handling in IV compared to others. ..With the proper settings file you could drift for days and it felt great. Either way, been looking for this to come out on PC for a while now.
With GTAIV it was annoying with some (car?) mods when the handling would get screwed and you'd turn a corner at 30kph, only to roll the thing. Was funny just standing at a corner and watching the citizens do it, theyd roll onto pedestrians sometimes haha.
