Hello. Is it worth upgrading from a gtx 670 to a gtx 780 non ti? my current monitor is a samsung T220 which supports up to 1680x1050 resolution and i use it mostly for fps games (because i play with mouse and keyboard cant play with a controller this type of games) but i also have a sony 32" tv on the wall which supports up to 1920x1080 for fifa and racing games playing with a controller so is it worth? if yes is my psu enough for this card? thanks in advance here are the rest of my specs..
Most definitely upgrade your screen and personally I would recommend one of these crazy cheap Korean ones. 1440p / 120hz is really really nice. Of course then you'll definitely need a 780
for a new monitor @ 1080p is the 780 Ti worth the extra money over the non Ti. ? which one should i buy? and what monitor can you reccomend me ?
Maybe hold off a bit before upgrading your monitor, g-sync monitors could be worth the wait... if you're interested in that. Currently I'm at the same rez as you and this 780 hasn't sunk below 60 fps with up to 4xAA in anything I play.
totally, gtx 670 with a 1440 monitor? OP just get 780 now and monitor laters. folks here are going overboard to get everyone using the Korean monitors lol. whatever you do don't expect folks to recommend you go buy a nvidia card.
I don't know about a monitor, but there's no question the 780Ti is worth the extra money. The Ti is as fast,or faster than the Titan. A good upgrade that should serve you well for quite a while.
On second thought, buy a GTX 770 or GTX 780, and upgrade the monitor later. OP you don't need some fancy schmancy 1440 monitor made in Korea or where ever.
I'm getting the 780Ti SC ACX next week and new monitor to follow with possible another 780Ti at the end of the year.... I'm suspicious it's worth the wait and save some spare cash for a new 30-32" 144 Hz screen
