Anyone else here with an Asus z87 board that has the Qualcomm Atheros wi-fi? My wi-fi speeds with it are much slower than an ethernet connection, about 75% slower. I tried a usb wireless adapter from my other pc and that has normal speeds as well. So I am fairly certain it is the Atheros. Has anyone else noticed this and were you able to solve it to get normal speeds with it? I've already tried things like disabling bluetooth, updating to the latest Qualcomm driver, changing channels in my router, and changing encryption settings. None gave me my normal speeds.
I had a similar issue, turns out after updating my Asus RTAC68U router to the latest firmware fixed the problem for me.
