Kombuster cheating?

So on some of these that have scores posted online in kombuster, people cheat on I take it?

Because a gtx 260 was outscoring my hd7950 clocked at 1ghz/1357mhz... and that just doesn't seem possible to me. There were some other really off the wall ones in there. What does that give people? Why would they do something like that, it doesn't make their card any better lol.

 

Think you'll find it was a 260X.

 

it showed his clock speed at roughly 500mhz, memory at 1ghz

Tbh Furmark isn't used much these days so I wouldn't dwell on it......

Try Heaven or 3DMark.
