two 6+2 pin pcie connectors to power up single 8pin gfx card

    Is it safe to power up a 8pin gpu from 2 6+2 pin pcie connectors. I mean using the 6 pins head of one connector and the two pin head of the other ?

    The additional two headers are only ground wires and don't really carry any power. Technically it should be safe, yet I wonder why you don't use a single 6+2 for that 8 pin connector?

    it was working fine yesterday but today display is only coming from builtin gfx card. I think i should force it in the bios .
