Quick question boss, are you only using 6 GB of RAM with your test rig or is that a typo?

    Otherwise, cool review.

Cool, thanks. Thought it would either be 8 or 16, given 8 is the normal minimum nowadays.

    Olá,

Use a game like Crysis to stress it all day, do that at least for 3 days to see if it works. It have worked for some guys before so give it a try.

If it still worries you than RMA, but you are probably going to get another doing the same noise and then you will be wasting your money on postage for nothing, it's still 15€ to ship it to UK.

Why in the name of... someone, they named this a 7870? Because if they had named it 7930 would that hinder 7950 sales, since in most games is like 90-95% same performance?

I would much prefer to see this cards named 7930 which is a much nicer sounding name imho.

8 is pretty standard for even normal people, 16GB isn't too uncommonly seen here either (new desktop systems that is).

I'm sure Hilbert meant that 8GB is minimum for Guru's... And we use it too... :D
