I have installed RivaTuner and really like its features. I just can't seem to get the fan speed control to work on my NV5. It appears to stay at the same speed, regardless of being in 2d/3d/high3d, even though I set it to run at 30/50/80%. The fan is plugged into the card, rather than the mobo.

Fan control is NOT supposed to work with non-reference cooling system.

For the first time, I simply warn you that this forum is definitively not the best place for spamming and 100% useless postings.

Is there any other program that I can use to make my fan work harder? It doesnt seem to pump that much air out, considering the size of it.
I am also happy to flash my bios if the setting is kept in there. I have done that before with out any problems.

    Unwinder,

It may seem like a stupid question, but why would a non reference cooler make any difference? Doesnt the Fan speed % equal a voltage, which is increased to spin the fan faster? or is there more to it that simpley a voltage increase?

I believe speed control of the fan is not through an analog control (amount of DC voltage) arrangement. In a digital DC environment PWM (Pulse Wave Modulation) is usually employed. For more info...(http://www.netrino.com/Publications/Glossary/PWM.html)
