I have a low profile PC case (Dell 580s) which doesn't currently have dedicated graphics. I want to buy a graphics card to play Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.

My PSU should be able to handle any card which only uses bus power (very low power draw elsewhere in system). A 6570 DDR3 card will give me the playability I want (lowish-res, medium settings), but I'd like to do a bit better if I can.

Does anybody know if there is a half-height ddr5 6570, or 6670 based card available, or soon to be available? The 6670 reference boards were half-height, but I haven't seen any manufacturer offer one in this format.

Any info or scoops about products which might be coming out soon v. welcome. Or recommendations of Nvidia kit, which I have done less research on.

    Many thanks

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm pretty sure that it needs external power though... my PSU wouldn't be able to hack it...

    Oh, I haven't noticed that. Somehow I thought 6750/5750's don't even have a 6-pin connector.

Anyway, according to TPU's review, it draws a maximum of 82W in FurMark and about 70W in game. And PCI-E can deliver 75W. So technically it should work without external power.

    There's also a HIS Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5. But I don't know where you can find it http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-672.shtml

The HIS looks excellent. Just the job. It's on Amazon for 115 bucks - not great value for money but when you have a slim case there isn't much choice.

    Cheers for the help.
