of course i can run other applications and games, the bench been like this ever since its released on steam, they try to fix this bench, but it seems it is fixed for some, but the rest are still like me, only getting grey screens. and i always clean install my driver. i only download this bench to test out mantle, but man, the dev really screw up, its like being able to run this bench or not is kinda like a gamble. it works for some, but only grey screen for others. and some even got BSOD when trying to ran this bench,
both, and most of the times, i also got grey screens on the launch menu. its like getting grey screens for launch menu is 9 out of 10. but for trying mantle or DX, its 10 out of 10 grey screens.
Have you tried earlier drivers ? (mantle wont be available ofcourse, but maybe you wont have a grey screen at the launch window). or have you tried to install the direct X or Vcredist that is in the _CommonRedist folder of the benchmark ?
before 14.1 is out, this bench is already out, and i was on 13.12 WHQL at that time, and i did tried this bench, but it was already only grey screens. and the dx or vcredist on that folder is ran automatically by steam when i launch the bench for the 1st time.
