this DLC is just 3.4gb which makes it the smallest DLC

    Finished The Executioner last night.

Took me 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Honestly, this is easily the weakest of the DLC releases for the game.
I will definitely give Tango credit, they have tried different things with the DLCs instead of playing it safe and just delivering "more of the same".

But, on this one... it just feels... cheap.
The first person view is odd, it works and once you get the hang of combat it's okay. But, the game doesn't look nearly as detailed or as atmospheric as the base game or even Kidman's DLC was.

Also, the DLC is pathetically easy. Enemies will randomly drop health during fights, the only time you really "need" to try is when fighting enemies with ranged attacks, otherwise it's basically just a matter of mashing the attack button until everything is dead.

    And, finally... the story.
Well, there isn't one. Really. There's a really lazy, thin setup
involving Modius putting you (a father) and your daughter into Stem. And then, you're the Keeper... and you have to find your daughter.
There's no new voice acting or dialog, hell... other then the taunts of a few enemies there's no voice acting at all.
All the story elements are presented on screen by text. And, all the environments are recycled areas from the main game.

They had a chance to be really creative here and dive into the Keeper. Not really give away who or what he is, but explain how he became. But, instead... they ignore the Keeper that Sebastian fights... and make a new, different one.
And one that is (apparently) not even a fraction of the strength of the one Sebastian fights.

I love The Evil Within. And I loved Kidman's DLC, both of them.
But this... this just feels like a cheap cash in. With more time, more originality and better story/presentation it could've been awesome.

when game was out, i stopped playing after chapter 2-3 i guess.

Last nigh re started to play from 0. now on chapter 3-4 on PS4. i want to ask you guys that. why we need to burn bodies ? is it a MUSt to do it every single body? they dont seem to wake up again. just if they r about to wake up, or i push them down a source to make them stop waking up. so i must not waste matches on every dead body yes?

No you dont need to burn every body, only ones that are still moving/getting up. It also useful for burning others around the body. You throw matches on a dead body and it spreads to other enemies close by.

    hmm. this explains alot.

shame the tools of melee weapons destroy themselves at 1 hit. so far tried axe.

At some points the AIMING is so hard. zooming makes u zoom very edges of enemy . such confusing zooming.

Game is so good. needs patience at times.

in certain cases you need to burn them all or some creatures can poses those bodies & spawn there when they're chasing you.. e.g.
weird looking "TheRing" 4 armed woman.

it killed me here because I didn't burn all the bodies

    hmm thank u.

i stopped playing this and finished Dead Space 3. but returning back to this.

but PC this time. because as DS3 or any other survival shooting game: HEADSHOT is lethal and with gamepad it is very hard.

This game uses ammos very low. so need every bullet. and giving headshot is already pain in the arse. shame i cant transfer my PS4 saves to PC but well. here i come.

Not played this for ages now, still at the part where you let that doctor bloke through the gate, where mateys chained up in the pig barn.

Think once i get Last Light finsihed off again, i'll get back to this, but starting from the beginning. :p
