LOL every game with the Quake 3 engine is limited to 90 by default.

try '/com_maxfps 999' and then '/vid_restart'

if that doesnt work try '/forcefps 999' but that might only work in osp. Don't forget /vid_restart every time u change things like this.

/edit

'/cg_drawfps 1' enables ingame framerate display.

Im going to do some screenshots of the following when I get hold of my new X800XT... Going to try and do 2048x1536 res shots mostly (and try going as high as possible FSAA at that setting) - onboard Ram should limit it to 4xfsaa I think...

Should I make a post on the forum here, or shall I make a webpage on my site... I think that would be easier

I'm going to be doing the folowing games:
FarCry
Splinter Cell
Unreal Tournament 2004
Red Orchestra
Call of Duty
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Battlefield 1942
Desert Combat
Galactic Conquest
Serious Sam: 2nd Encounter
Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising Demo
Thief: Deadly Shadows Demo
Ground Control II Demo
Homeworld 2 Demo
Panzers Demo
LOMAC Demo
Race Driver 2 Demo
GTR Demo
Hitman Contracts Demo
MotoGP 2 Demo
Need For Speed Underground Demo
Painkiller Demo
Kuma/War Demo
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 Demo

And the following benchmarks:
3DMark2003
3DMark2001
AquaMark
Ruby Demo
Croud Demo
+(Various good tech demos from older Radeon Generations)

BF1942 and vietnam has crappy graphicss, even with a x800 pro.

I only thing that's nice are the weapon models.

The amusing thing is that Vietnam runs better than 1942.

Just a few probs with them:

1. No FPS counter
2. No AA
3. No AF

No hardware spec listing, for all we know they could be taken on a 9200.

only difference you'd see is higher fps with aa/af between a 9800 and an x800

what counts is HL2 looks great either way

for all anyone knows it I could have used an 8500, especially without a counter

The whole idea of the thread was for X800 series owners to post their screenshots at highest possible settings with an FPS counter.

1. You don't own an X800 series card.
2. You didn't run with the highest settings in the CP [Inc. AA and AF].
3. To add insult, you didn't include an FPS counter which just makes your posts completely pointless as well as off-topic.

An 8500 series card would have to use the PS1.1 coding path so no, it wouldn't produce the same quality.

Why not post GF4 series screenshots while you're at it?
Hell, post some GeForce 256 or 3DFX Voodoo 5 screens for kicks.

What difference does it make?
All the screenshots will look the same if you're using a 9800 class card, or a x800 class card, just higher framerates. And stills dont really show off the benefits of higher framerates...

1. Most people don't
2. If a few jaggies hurt, going outside should freshen up your eyes a bit
3. I didn't post the screenshots to insult anyone, they're there for everyone's enjoyment
