The release date is 02 August American time (or more specifically, United States of America time). Depending on the time of day it is released, in some parts of the world it will already be 03 August. The release is also supposedly staggered, it might be that US customers get a higher priority than you for example.

I guess the KB update is only for insiders. When i try both the .CAB and .MSU i get the massage that it's not applicable for my computer.

It's for version 1607 of Windows 10 (Aka RS1) so yeah insiders only and when RS1 goes live (later today?) it'll probably be the cumulative update for it with some few additional fixes.
(Also between the earlier .5 and this .10 CU it seems to be mostly changes to the system apps like for example Cortana.)

EDIT: If not then a newer CU for 1607 might hit next Tuesday as it's the second Tuesday of the current month and thus when Microsoft publishes it's monthly set of OS updates.
(Could also see .10 released today and then a newer one next week fixing more stuff still.)

EDIT: Also unsure if the downloadable ISO will be 14393.0 or have one of these pre-integrated, currently the ESD files for 14393 / RS1 that went live I think it was yesterday are on 14393.0 if I understood it right.
(And then either during install if doable and allowed it'll download any applicable update found or if not then it'll be when the user first runs WU either manually or when it does it's own automatic check if the user hasn't changed the settings for that.)

VLSC ISOs that went live yesterday were plain 14393.0, find out later

I'm creating a 14393.10 ISO integrating the latest .cab, installing in VM now to test

EDIT - Worked

Still have an odd issue, when after playing a Steam game, all text on the start menu, and some live tiles disappear. reported this so many times during the testing phase, and it still happens. I think the main issue is the Start Menu is an App, and apps are generally not too stable, pity they removed the original version of the start menu that first appeared ion the early beta versions. As a Windows Insider, I feel very little feedback was actually used, and once again Microsoft had an idea and that was it, still many inconsistencies between the settings menu, control panel, lots of old icons, even on some dialogs you have a new and old style icon, would it take that long to actually update all the icons, QA has never been Microsoft strong point, nor has UI design.

It's nothing new from the last Insiders build, I've been running it since the 18th

Decrypt an ESD from here

So has anyone/anywhere reported getting the Redstone Update official via Windows Update yet? Or are they not rolling them out on the 2nd anymore? I checked Windows Update 10x today. I live in Australia, it's almost the 3rd of August.

I remember I was one of the first to get Windows 10 officially via update, and one of the first to get the updates that followed.

Assuming you mean 6PM GMT by UK Time?
Not British Standard Time. Correct?

Sorry i did mean UK GMT. But not sure for rest of world. MS doesnt work on regions just in case it all goes wrong they wont run the risk of wiping out a whole Region.
It will be staggered and in waves.

What's your source on this?

I know that's patch Tuesday release time and a possible release time, but Microsoft have not released anything saying that

Spent time today on phone dealing with a manager about two windows phones (950XL) got chatting and thats what he revealed to me. It does make sense and does fit in with MS patch Tuesday release time. ;-)

Well I'd take what a phone manager says about PC windows client OS releases with a grain of salt, yea possible, but nothing certain and unlikely that manager knows either, also guessing

They have released the last few Insiders builds up to 11:30pm GMT too

Would make sense being around that time to include the majority of the regions on the 2nd, but we'll see
