Ahh, If you have a new version that dosen't do that after a normal uninstall (because the real problem is that you never made, with that method, a real integration info mod-driver, in fact, for the system they are considered two drivers.....so two folders in driver store)......I'll give them a try.......as you know, I always appreciate and respect others work.
I don't have a new version and I probably won't be continuing the mod because previously I made the INF mod as a workaround for Windows 8 x64 however it's no longer necessary as I can make changes I want to make when modding the 12.11 Driver For Legacy Users.

It's more background work, like the log and the devcon is now integrated on the .exe and extract itself when necessary.

For full changes, you can check our svn changes
There is a link for it in the main post.

I apologize for not listing the changes, I thought it was on OP. But I forgot it wasn't. Wagnard listed the changes, though.

Release 3.6.1

Most stuff are NVIDIA stuff.
But for AMD there is the removal of the OpenCL files on system32 /syswow64(if exist) directory + some small speedup (may not be noticeable.)
If the stuff for NVIDIA is stable , ill bring it to AMD too. (DCOM cleanUP from registry)
Refer to SVN for complete changelog since V3.5

I like the idea of this, but sadly it ruined something, and I'm not able to fix it.
My OS no longer accepts any display drivers (old or new).

CCC
"AMD Catalyst Control Center cannot be started.
There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD Catalyst Control Center."

Device Manager
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I just hope system restore works..

after that the cleaner ran, did it install a default driver?

Did you reboot after the CleanUP? You could try running it in safemode too.
You are the very first report of this kind of thing.

if you have the log of the uninstall, post it here.

Thankfully, system restore fixed the issue.
It did install some kind of driver, then I tried solving it by uninstalling the device and driver, then it installed some old driver 1.2WDM blabla (I don't remember).
Then I tried running ccleaner and driver fusion, but no luck. Still the same issue.

Sadly I didn't save the logs, but I am going to try it again. If I end up with the same issues, I'll see if I can get the logs.

edit: And yes, I rebooted several times.

Thanks its appreciated.

It is not recommended that you use another cleaner straight after using mine.

Also does the amd driver install normally but its just it wont start after reboot?

After a few tries, it does install. It failed most of the time.

This latest try the results were a bit different. After your tool uninstalled the drivers, there was ton of screen flashing, and after a few flashes of black, it stayed black. After installing the latest driver now, my display Adapter is Disabled. Enabling it gives me a bluescreen.

And I used another one after yours to see if it fixed the problems. I had nothing to lose

The screen should flash a few time.
It is important to have the internet connection disabled to prevent installing driver from the internet
and Still when the internet is disconnected, you can install the a new driver.

That's the usual procedure.

Quite weird problem as your the first to report this to me.
Also a disabled adapter is not the work of my Cleaner. I do not disable display adapter. Something weird happened or maybe there is a conflicting software that interfere with my tool.

Did you also try to run the cleaner in safemode? this could potentially avoid conflicting software.

Also what was you drivers when you used the Cleaner?

If you ever feel like it, you can give me the log or just call it a day !

At least I'm glad you got it to work again. Sorry that it didnt work as you expected.

If pastebin is alright, here is the latest log:
http://pastebin.com/C6kqFcFq

Installing the latest driver now gives me a bluescreen. Although I've only tried twice. Maybe third time's the charm...

Its weird , I don't see any successful removal of at least 1 oemxx.inf
Did that log came from a try to CleanUP when there is no driver installed?

There should have been. The latest driver was installed if I remember correctly (the one that refused to work)

HUmm k. Maybe that was because it wasn't working.

At least normally there should be 1 oem removal when there is a driver ( a working one i guess).

My personal thought on this is there could have been something wrong on your side but I wont be sure unless I get other reports with similar problem or if you happen to try this again someday on a clean install.

Anyway thanks for your time reporting this.

I did a system restore and tried again with a working driver. The above pastebin is the new log. 13.6 BETA 2 driver is installed.

What version are you using of my app?
also if you can pastebin this command from "devcon dp_enum" it would be great.
This command will list all oem from your systems.
The devcon.exe is created when you load my app. just do this command from a command prompt.

Thanks a lot for your help / time.

http://pastebin.com/1DeHEqce Hope it helps.
(This is after cleaning. I can't do much because I get a bluescreen shortly after, so technically it's after a reboot)

I'm using 3.6.1 .

The thing I reported first hasn't happened again though. These current issues may be driver related. I'm trying to install the latest 3.8 driver, but I get a bluescreen and other errors while trying.

But if those things help you solve the first issue I reported, that'd be great

Good ! thanks a lot. But with those BSOD it is either the driver or something on the system.
Is your system in Crossfire btw?
A clean windows installation could be wise.
