the whole sound spectrum was fluctuating, and at some time the higher freq. got kinda muffled.

idk the sound became artificial a little robotic if you will.

L saw the same thing and he was in win7?

No issue on my champ. You know you can lower your bass treble and voice vocal on your own . It's in inf hehe. But you have reinstalled each time you do it.

well here is the deal, DK suite no matter which always sounds the same out of the box, but with your last 2.00 driver there is something wrong, like with those earlier that had to much bass.

Im not gonna tweak further, tweaking sound is the last thing on my mind now

Thanks, testing it now

Works great, sound quality is slightly better than before. However the headset still shows up to Windows 7 as a "Stereo" device, which means you can't use CMS3D with a lot of games. I'm not sure if this is fixable or not though.

So what exactly makes these sound better than the creative drivers?
Is the sound more neutral, is in "enhanced" in some way?

Details, details..

Yes but.. "Better Performance. Better Audio. Better Xeleration."

What does better audio in this case mean? Is the default EQ for instance tweaked?

Seems to be that the bas plays a bit louder on these drivers. Is it tweaked? How much and at which frequencies?

How much and at which frequencies? I don't know numbers lol I just tweak them so you guys can have better treble and bass that all. You can change value in the inf main inf but you have uninstalled driver each time. Ya everything is tweak that I think of in audio driver make sound more better don't you think compare to default drivers?

Formally known as Youpax, Pax was founded by Robert McClelland 5 years ago, who is continuing to provide an alternative tweaked driver to the Official driver released by Creative.

Why should I install this Pax alternative?

Pax is aimed at improving sound quality and to give a more deeper bass sound, while retaining the clarity of the overall output audio. Most users continue to use Pax drivers once moving over and never look back!
