Actually uni Xonar drivers would be the best choice since hes mods them off newer releases. I used uni xonar drivers when I had my Xonar STX usually because he had newer drivers first before asus even tho I didnt have issues with asus drivers.

A friend on a Xonar DG is using them now and not having any issues, but he doesn't use GX mode.

I took a look at the uni drivers and they look very promising. I've heard bad things about gx but it's eax emulation nonetheless. It's be cool to be able to have directional sound in older games. Also it'd be nice to have front panel switching but I don't switch between headphones and speakers daily. I don't mind sacrificing features rarely used for performance. What features do the dk drivers have over stock?

Also I just noticed he has an optional download for the front panel stitcher but it sacrifices performance. He also updates openAL for newer games. I doubt I'll miss eax support; I doubt anyone does.

Also I just did a little research and found that eax is run though openal or ds3d so there's no reason old games couldn't run it anyway. I think gx was just for hardware acceleration for eax which is a simple piece of software anyway (I can't imagine it using more than 1 mflop).

Hi, all X-Fi Packs should be released later this week, followed by Audigy Packs and finally USB Packs.

AuzenUAA (Prelude RefCD5) pack is ready, but I prefer to release all X-Fi packs simultaneously.

Updated ISOs will be available in about 3 weeks.
hehe..nice

I guess you didnt follow the uninstallation procedure correctly..

I only had this one time and it was my own fault..

This is how i fixed it;
i had to
1) uninstall everything (all creative stuff - in installer)
2) delete all creative folders (app data - local and roaming; common files; normal creative folders - check for all!!)
3)run sweeper 2.7.5
4)ccleaner - registry cleaner to remove any leftovers
5) run Win7 manager registry cleaner (for final touch)
5.1)ccleaner - registry cleaner again if win7 manager left some conflicts
5.2)reboot
6) install Daniel K UAA 1.5 again and i got it fixed.

but dont reboot do all these steeps from 1-5 in one go..

I didnt try them yet, but i think he didnt include the latest Prelude driver by UAA 1.8
http://www.auzensupport.com/site/dow...php#xfiprelude
-_-

Well it looks a bit newer compared to 1.5 (2.14.0001.25) vs 1.8 (2.14.0001.28)

i hope its as good as 1.5 suite lol

by 2.5 pack there are more drivers, maybe yea your SB ID doesnt like Prelude UAA driver

UAA 1.8 works fine

I already set that 7.1 channel reassign tweak in all audio modes.

+ It has a fresh driver, UAA 1.5 had something 2009..
