Looks insane, I'm lost for words. First time seeing such an unusual design that's movable/adjustable...

However, I'd rather current tower cases...

Also, with regards to cooling, there's not much room for fans/cooling/expansion...

Looks like a weapon from Dead Space which is awesome. Looks great to me but the price will be insane.

The article says it uses off the shelf components. I can't figure how the MB fits in there.

I would guess MITX.

In the 3 pillars, this is how it looks to me.

Pillar 1- GPU and USB/Audio port extender

Pillar 2- PSU, SSD, and disk drive

Pillar 3- MITX Mobo

That's my guess.

An extender cable such as like you posted, and power can be made modular or routed if the cables are long enough.

The other thing is it doesn't look like the GPU has a lot of airflow in that little area. Unless you leave the cover off. I know its just a prototype but I'd be interested to see how well it keeps things cool.
