motherboard for G3258

    If you can spare another £15 or so you could grab an Asrock Z97M ANNIVERSARY MATX.

    It'd be a shame to get that Pentium and not clock the crap out of it tbh.

    I highly doubt that board would overclock well with any CPU even with the G3258.

    I would honestly try and at least get a decent board, as if your trying to have some fun and overclock it if it breaks at all, or you feel the need to upgrade at least you have a decent board to work with.

    Most Z97's overclock decently, I'm willing to bet you could hit 4.4-4.6ghz on that board easily.

    The PC is going to used by a friend for web browsing and tv shows, so not bothered about the overclocking but its a nice option to have for a small boost.

    According to this thread http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2389948 the cpu can be overclocked on some H81 boards.
