NAND dump/imaging software ?

For a while now, i started to be curios about data recovery from NAND memory,such as smartphones and the whole lot.
Until now, i relied on the some software,but still the field can be generously improved.More exactly,dd the mounted android partition ,and extract data from it.
Anyone can say a thing or two about some software i should look into,free or otherwise?
