AB Uninstall

Can you Install a newer version over an older one?

Having a problem un-installing older version as tells me its still active.

Have tried defaulting all settings before doing it.
Seems to be imbedded in other apps and or folders.

Posted this in other section and was told to try safe Mode.
Didn't work either.

Trying to get latest version as to recognizing the 7970 going to get.

Perhaps RTSS.exe is possibly still active in background.
Terminate it in Task Manager.

 

Would that be in Services?

previous version.

Never like doing that though as to possible problems.

I simply right-click the AB tray icon and select close, then install the new version.

Always like getting rid of all the old software before reloading as to
issues with drivers,coding, ect, whether apps, Vid,Audio ect.

Never had issues doing it that way.
I'm comfortable in the registry also as to deleting remnants as to conflicts.

Will just install over old version if won't un-install.
