I'm trying to upgrade an older computer, is it worth it to move from a GTX470 to a 750Ti? I can get the 750Ti for $100-ish.

If you want to upgrade from that 470 for a low price you should hit the second hand market, see if you can pick up a cheap 7950 or Nvidia equivalent. I wouldn't move to a 750ti from a 470.

Wouldnt be a huge upgrade, most 470s do 800mhz which will be faster.

Not worth it at all. I don't really think you can call it an upgrade. Yes, the 750ti has more ram, that's it.

A second hand 670 is the minimum you should be looking at for an upgrade.

The PC in question has an FX-6300 for the CPU. Thank you so much for the help guys. :)

What about the 660Ti at about $80?

Not worth it at all, except for power draw and temperatures.

Only slightly higher upgrade than 750ti.
