I am using an asus 1215b netbook with windows 7. What bothers me is that it keeps changing power profile from balanced to maximum performance when it is plugged in. Which itself is extremely stupid as each profile already has seperate settings for when netbook is running on battery and for when it is plugged in. Extremely stupid. I didnt install any asus programs, it is basicly a clean install. This never happened to me on another laptop and i had plenty, i also didn't find anything in bios except cool n quiet and c or p state, but as far as i know this shouldnt change the active profile but merely adjust cpu settings. Does anyone have any idea what causes this ?
