this is regarding the number of stripes, not the size of. if i make a volume of 2 disk, during that process i am asked for number of stripes and i have the options of 1 or 2. if i made a volume of # drives, then i am given a choice of 1 to # for number of stripes. explain how number of stripes works, what's best for performance, reliability, logistics, thinking ahead, etc. thanks.
