I just bought and installed this card, but now I'm getting crackling noises from my sound card. I'm sure the video card must be the problem because I've tried 3 different sound card, and all give me the same problem! HELP!

I remember reading something about it, don't know for sure, perhaps in Geforcefaq.
Or was it in powerstrip.txt? If that's the case it's about pci latency, and you have to increase it in powerstrip.ini . I'l repost saturday with more detail if anyone else doesn't answer your question.

I have this problem sometimes too.
I change the soundcard's hardwarespeedup and conversion quality under advanced audio.
Mostly this does the trick.
I did not know about pic latency, ill look into that one.
Well, it was a PCI Latency problem. I checked the GeForce faq and found that out, and a way to fix it. Well, semifix anyway. Under my IBM ESS Solo-1 PCI soundcard it works fine now. However, there's still crackling when I use my Creative Sound Blaster 16 PCI.
Here's the file. It's for Windows 9x. Just unzip this then create a shortcut to it in your Windows Startup folder. This file should set your PCI Latency to 0.
Before I forget...
This file was intended for those running MPV3 Via chipsets. Right now I'm running an AMD K6-2 450mhz with 128mb RAM on a Tyan 1590S Trinity motherboard.

similar my problem. i have noise from my sound card (AWE32) after install anything. first time i think this problem from my mother board
(or anything my hardware) i tried than 20-30 different but the problem not loss. Finally i guess i correct at DMA of AWE32 in 'Deveice Manager' you must abort 'HIGH DMA Channel' and use 'LOW DMA Channel' ONLY.

** note **
AWE32 use...
HIGH DMA=3 <---- must abort
LOW DMA=5
(and another resource use by default PNP)

PS. good luck my friend
