Your best bet is to do a clean install through iTunes. I've been in your situation, apple logo just sits on the screen. Download the latest iTunes, plug your phone into your PC, let it detect what you have, reinstall ios 8.4 through iTunes, it will force a clean install. Then try to jailbreak again if you still want to. I'm running 8.4 broken with cydia, no problems at all. The only damn reason I even jailbreak the iPhone is for a game called WWE Wrestlefest. They remade it and it's no longer on the market, so I have the .ipa and install it with every break I do. Love the game. Otherwise, for me, it's useless.
Are these methods only partial/risky for 9.2? http://pangu8.com/92.html (First iOS device, no experience at all)
Thanks, that's what I'd thought but wasn't sure because there are posts kicking about on the jailbreak sites saying even 9.3 beta has been broken
Just getting iOS 9.2.1 update coming through Security update, bug fixes, including a fix for an issue that could prevent the completion of app installation when using an MDM server
Yea, I managed to translate my way through the Chinese one, once you do the PC side once, if you reboot you just need to run the pangu app on the device to jailbreak again, no PC needed after the initial break, but there's an easier method here http://webflames.net/Jailbreak/
That's too much of a hassle having to reboot. I'm gonna wait until that's fixed before I jump on this.
Think they're calling it Partially Untethered, doesn't take much after a reboot Run the app, hit the circle, lock the device, and it's done, takes about 20 seconds to re-break I don't reboot much, well, at least I didn't until I jailbroke, and found installing themes and stuff needs rebooting lol But tbh, I think jailbreaking seems to make more sense for iPhones, for the iPad I'm not really seeing much use for it yet, maybe just haven't discovered anything yet but most of it seems to be phone related
Ah right, nice, I`ll get that installed then, use KODI a lot on my MiniPC Cheers EDIT - Works well, nice and smooth UI / playback
