Trying to work out what this means before I phone the company to ask The letter states: --------- WHAT YOU NEED TO DO Make an appointment after at least 4 working days when you received this letter. --------- Now, does that mean: Make an appointment within 4 days of receiving the letter, or, wait 4 days from the day of receiving the letter before making an appointment?
That's what Id have thought too, it's the "After at least 4 days" that is slightly strange If someone says "You can have your car back After at least 4 days", Id think it meant I had to wait at least 4 days before getting it back
No way it means within or it would've said within. It could mean call them immediately but the appointment must occur 4 days after you receive the letter!
It also states: "You must attend the examination within 6 weeks of the date of this letter" Two different things
I think I've decoded it: Make an appointment FOR at least 4 days after getting the letter, but within 6 weeks of getting the letter Receive letter >>>>>> 4 days >>>>>>>> appointment >>>>>> 6 weeks So basically don't make an appointment the day after you get the letter because we'll not be ready for you
They sent the letter before they were actually ready to schedule the examination. Add four days to the date/time you received the letter, then schedule your exam.
Yep, wow, they could have worded that slightly better lol "Please wait 4 days after receiving this letter before scheduling your appointment" Would have been better
"WHAT YOU NEED TO DO Make an appointment after at least 4 working days when you received this letter." This makes me think they meant 4 business days. However, err on the side of caution, call immediately. Try to schedule. Follow directions from there. Problem solved.
